The PEW Tactical UA23 Side-Pull Mag Pouch (5.56) is a low-profile, horizontally oriented magazine carrier designed to maximize the unused real estate on your plate carrier.

By utilizing a side-pull extraction method, this pouch allows you to carry additional 5.56 ammunition without adding bulk to the front of your chest rig or interfering with your primary vertical magazine draws.

Horizontal Extraction: Unlike traditional vertical pouches, the UA23 holds the magazine horizontally. This allows for a fast, ergonomic side-pull draw, perfect for emergency reloads from the flanks or rear of your carrier.
Caliber Compatibility: Precision-sized with high-tension elastic to securely grip standard 5.56 / .223 magazines, including polymer PMAGs and traditional metal STANAGs.
Attachment Method: Features an extended hook-and-loop (velcro) paddle. It is designed to slide securely under the front flap of a plate carrier, between the cummerbund layers, or even on the rear plate bag.
Low Profile & Snag-Free: The elastic construction ensures the pouch lies completely flat against your body when empty, eliminating snag hazards in tight CQB environments.
Ambidextrous Setup: The simple velcro interface means it can be mounted on the left or right side, facing forward or backward, depending on your reload preferences.
